EarthFest Los Angeles 2011 concert in the park for the environment & expo

\"LosOn April 23 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. join California Greenworks, Inc. as it hosts its sixth annual Earth Day event, “Earthfest Los Angeles  Concert in the Park for the Environment & Expo.”

This year the event will be held at Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area in Los Angeles. Participants will have a chance to find healthy cooking demonstrations, youth educational activities, gardening tips for urban living, a green job symposium, green product demonstrations, concessions and lots of family fun.

While admission to the expo portion of the event is free, there will be an additional “Earthfest Los Angeles Concert in the Park for the Environment.” The price for concert tickets start at $40. Acts will include Grammy-winning jazz guitar legend, Paul Brown, contemporary jazz guitarist, Marc Antoine, and saxophone sensation, Jackiem Joyner. The concert starts at 1:30 p.m. Proceeds help support California Greenworks programs.

Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area is located at 4100 S. La Cienega in Los Angeles. Click on this link for a map.  Parking is $6.00. Tram service is free.
