About Us
Launched in July 2010, world.edu delivers information and opportunities to individuals and organisations who are embracing the future – today.
We don’t preach to our users about the benefits of sustainability and the dangers of climate change. Our users already know they want to make a difference. They want real jobs, real courses and real opportunities. They want a place where they can learn, grow and be heard.
Our mission is to provide these things – today. We believe this makes us different.
Our Community
world.edu took its first step in the big education world on Monday 26th July. Our web developers would prefer to name the site “beta” but the rest of the team prefer the description ” toddler” – that stage between infancy and childhood. Like we are here, but boy have we got a lot of growing to do!
Right now this minute you can:
- Apply for jobs, courses and volunteering positions
- Comment on articles and discuss topics throughout the site
- Submit your own articles for publication on the site
- Subscribe to our RSS feeds for articles, courses, jobs & events
and of course leave you feedback and suggestions using the comments form below or by emailing us here.
In the very near future you will be able to:
- Create your own profile page
- Find answers in the world.edu forums
